Our Hosts: Rotary District 1400

Spanning the northern half of Finland, Rotary District 1400 encompasses 34 Rotary clubsmfinland and borders the Gulf of Bothnia, Sweden, Norway, and Russia. The largest city is Oulu, with a population of 150,000. It is the sixth most populous city in Finland, and sits on the Finnish Western coast.

Northern Finland boasts pristine lakes, dense forests, and scenic vistas. The northern part of the district is Lapland, home to Sami, the indigenous population of northern Scandinavia.
